The Gate House

 The Gate House is the cottage that you drive past as you enter The Stable House property from the main driveway which we share with Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre. 

The cottage was built in the 1970s for the use of the couple who worked with The Stable House. This property was renovated at the beginning of 2021. The east elevation has been opened up into wonderful glass windows to make the most of the beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with their own ensuite shower-rooms, each having large windows to make the most of the views of the countryside and trees; each room also has a cosy corner to sit and read in under the eaves.

Downstairs the sliding doors open out onto the garden and there are new sliding windows all around to make the most of the views; the dividing walls have been removed as far as is structurally possible to create a lovely large light and open space for sitting on one side, dining on another and a well equipped kitchen on another.
