About Us
What is Coffee Club?
We have a Barista coffee machine in The Stable Barn down in the Stableyard, serving locally blended and roasted coffee, as well as teas, home-made cakes and biscuits; gluten-free and vegan options usually available.
Flat White? Espresso?
All of the family are Barista trained and will be happy to make you your choice of coffee. Please do not use the machine yourself if there is no-one around, but ring the bell or text the number displayed and hopefully one of us will appear. If we are home and not involved in a meeting, we are always happy to stop for a coffee!
When can I visit?
Please check with us when this is open. It is easiest to drop us a message by our email contact@thestablehouse.co.uk; alternatively you can message us through Whatsapp (mobile) or our Facebook page. We do not currently have a phone line in The Stable Barn.
Coffee for a Cause
All donations go to support the Aesso Orphanage in Burkina Faso, West Africa
We have a close connection and relationship to Aesso.
Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries in the world and we, as a family, have been visiting the Daygewende Complex (which is made up of the Orphanage, a Medical Centre, and through schooling) for the last 10 years and have developed close relationships with the family who run the Complex.
Our small amount put aside from every coffee and cake, or tea and biscuit, sold goes a long way within their community - we really can make a difference! For instance, when we recently sent a donation of £2600, we were told that this would feed the 50 orphans currently on site for 9 months.
