We had the most wonderful stay ... such a kind and helpful hostess, she brought us extra toys for our children to play with, baked a delicious cake, and was so thoughtful ... the accommodation was lovely, even better than the pictures, and the views over the fields were beautiful

The studio was lovely, it had everything we could need. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was really comfy and the views were amazing. We sat out every evening and watched the cows and sheep graze in the field. We were blessed with some really good weather and a stroll around the grounds - beautiful views and a lot to explore. Especially loved seeing some of the old features like the well. We would definitely come back if we were visiting around this part of the UK again!

This Park House is in a beautiful setting surrounded by wonderful countryside and buildings ... loved the view from the kitchen into the beautiful garden stretching down to fields. The interior of the house was very well-appointed, spacious, comfortable and the furnishings and decor are tasteful and of good quality ... this is a wonderful place and wished our visit was much longer

The perfect spot for our F1 weekend. All the rooms with en-suites was a huge bonus as we had to leave early for the F1 and it saved disturbing our sleeping daughter & parents (childcare for the weekend). Amazing lounge / kitchen / dining space - perfect for spending time together

The Lodge was a perfect place for our writing retreat ... the location was ideal in terms of getting out quickly from London and suddenly being immersed into nature. The cottage is really welcoming ... the views from the kitchen are just spectacular ... I really recommend this place for groups who want to take a break from the city and work in a relaxing and wide environment ... you can think and work in a different way ... the natural environment and the way it is preserved does contribute to this ... you can spends hours in just looking a the old trees ... you might find yourself to take a detour into the tree house or walk beyond the brick wall of the former Victorian garden, you could suddenly feel like little Alice in Wonderland. Warning. Be careful! This is a great place to stay, so great that you might not want to leave

From start to finish , the booking process to the departure day was an absolute dream - seamless. I booked a night in The Stable Studio for my friends, who were married that day and needed a night away close to home. Eleanor was extremely amenable with me, allowing me access to decorate the room and pop in some little extra bits for the newlyweds beforehand. The setting is absolutely beautiul, with sheep, cows, a horse and a donkey right outside the patio door - something I knew my friend would love. The stable was immaculately clean and tidy and a very peaceful stay. Would absolutely recommend this little gem & my friends are looking to book again soon - as are we as we now have FOMO!

I just wanted to thank you again for our time at the Stable Barn on Saturday. It really was a wonderful time for us as a group of leaders, when we really sensed the Lord’s presence and help. The Stable Barn provided the perfect location, homely and relaxed but with everything we needed. The food throughout was delicious and gave a feel of being treated, which our leaders really loved. Your hosting and generosity were terrific. We’re really grateful and will be back!

Eleanor and Neil were wonderful hosts. Their hospitality and generosity surpassed all our expectations ... the delicious cakes and barista coffee another bonus to our stay

The accommodation was comfortable and exactly as described. The whole location is stunning. There was also an ample and varied breakfast, and lovely touches ... the property is also amazing

Genuine people with a heart for making guests feel special and wanted. Welcomed as old friends, invited to evening meals like part of the family. A beautiful building steeped in local history but for us, the people made it our home too

My husband and his friend spent 3 restful and refreshing days with Eleanor and Neil. The location is beautiful and peaceful, spectacular views from the bedrooms. They went off for walks, bike rides, sat in coffee shops and had deep meaningful chats. They agreed they felt renewed and refreshed enough to face work and life again. Both men returned saying we must go again and take our wives soon!!! There's something rather special at Neil and Eleanor's, you must give it a try

Orchard Studio ‘22

We had a very relaxing, peaceful weekend and it was just what we needed. Excellent communication throughout. The property is cosy, comfortable, bright and has everything you need to make your own meals. The views across the fields are wonderful and we loved watching the squirrels bouncing around doing their squirrel thing. The grounds of the property are quite magnificent, and we loved wondering around and exploring. The animals are so sweet and gentle and brought joy and happiness to us both. Eleanor and Neil have a wonderful coffee club which makes fantastic coffee and the club venue is cosy, warm and welcoming.
